This year the Oceânico Group is once again honoured to welcome some of the World's greatest golfers to the Oceânico Victoria Golf Course in Vilamoura, to compete in the Portugal Masters 2009.

To celebrate this Laguna Golf Apartments and Villas are now offering a special rental on their luxury villas during the event.

€125 per night for a villa that sleeps 6 adults and you get the the following:

The following are 13 three bedroom villas all with double bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. All villas have master bedroom with double bed and the two additional bedrooms have twin beds.

The villas are on three levels and on the ground floor you have large lounge and dining area, kitchen, storage cloakroom and 3rd bedroom. Outside you have private garden and BBQ area and private parking for two vehicles.

First level you have two double bedrooms, master bedroom with double bed and 2nd bedroom with twin beds, all have their own terraces.

2nd floor leads you onto large private rooftop terrace complete with sun beds and Jacuzzi.

Villas 1 and 13 benefit from larger out sized areas as end of properties.

Three bedroom Linked Villas

These properties have outside private parking for two vehicles, private garden with BBQ area and seating for six people and fire extinguisher.

Inside, all properties are inclusive of air conditioning and heating, full kitchen, fire blanket, smoke alarm, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, iron & ironing board, mop & bucket, cleaning and kitchen towels, full set of dining ware for six people, condiments, security video camera, large 32 LCD TV with cable, seating for six people, dining table with six chairs, outside terrace furniture, welcome drinks.

All bed linen and towels are provided and changed weekly unless specified.

All properties have large rooftop terrace, with sun beds and private Jacuzzi.

Laguna Golf Course

Laid out over low-lying coastal terrain, this course, with its many water hazards and few trees, is considerably different from the other ones at the resort and many of its holes convey a links atmosphere. U.S. golf architect Joseph Lee designed this course which was opened in 1990 and many previous visitors will recognise it as part of the former 27-hole Vilamoura III course. Measuring 6,111 metres from the white tees, the par-72 course includes several lakes which influence play on a total of 11 holes. In addition to acting as hazards and emergency water reservoirs, these lakes serve a useful purpose in attracting a variety of aquatic birds, both resident and migratory, as well as amphibians, otters, terrapins etc. Apart from the lakes and an impressive total of 79 bunkers, another hazard is the wind that frequently blows over this somewhat exposed location.

Casino, those after a flutter can play American roulette, French roulette, Portuguese dice, Black Jack or slot machines at Casino, there are also nightly cabaret shows, a nightclub and a cinema.

Tennis, Vilamoura ténis Center. The sports facilities of the town are excellent, they include lawn bowling, swimming, golf, riding, squash & shooting.

Beaches
Falésia is ideal for a day on the beach with its unusual red coloured cliffs as a backdrop. You can get down to the beach at a number of points. Also close at hand is Olhos de Água, surrounded on three sides by pine-clad cliffs.

The town has its own beach - Vilamoura beach.

Gastronomy
Your visit is incomplete, as long as you have not tried the regions most delicious dishes. Naturally the Algarve's cuisine emphasis's fish and all kinds of shellfish, but for those who prefer meat there is also a good selection of dishes to choose from. Throughout the Algarve you will find good value restaurants. There is also a good choice of international cuisine restaurants, such as French, Indian, Chinese, Swiss and Italian.

Sorry, its been a long busy road in August getting everything ready and looking after our first guests, but great fun.

I thought I would update you with some photos of the resort, so please enjoy.

Bookings for August

In two weeks we have almost filled the whole of Laguna Golf Villas & Apartments in Vilamoura for the month of August and are desperately trying to furnish more units to meet the demand.

This week we will be working on the entertainment side of things to keep the clients happy and involved.

New sunbeds with matching umbrellas have been installed around the pool area for all to enjoy as well as all the Jacuzzi properties benefitting from their own private roof tops.

Clientele Now On-Site

"Wow" - This is the term used by all of the first six guest families who have arrived at Laguna Golf in Vilamoura.

We have been working our butts off to make sure the guests are happy and they are, so respect.

New units are being completed as we speak with the greatest accolade going to Kirsten Young, who has excelled herself.

We will now be getting feedback and will post soon for all to see what really counts - the clients.

Laguna Golf Coming Along Nicely

There is still a lot of work to do with furnishing the new luxury properties at laguna Golf before they opening in July 2009.
Inspections are taking place on a daily basis it seems, checking Health and Security was the latest in which Laguna Golf passed with flying colours. (Click on Photos to enlarge)



The pool, childrens pool and Jacuzzi by the main area are well sign
posted with the childrens pool kept seperated from the main pool area as well as having a life ring just in case. This will be the main focal point of the development and to compliment the pool area we will be placing a poolside bar to serve you drinks and snacks. You will be able to chill out in the luxury poolside furniture and to compliment the pool area we also will be placing sunloungers for you to enjoy that will be inline with the rest of the furniture.

Thomas Cook

On Friday, Laguna Golf was inspected by Mr. Gary Brown from the Thomas Cook group who said "This is the best development that we have got here on the Algarve".
